After 10 years running my decorative paper and stationery business, Papeterie, and 4 years at Canterbury Christ Church University, where I led an international award winning knowledge management project as Head of Commercial Enterprise, I founded The Knowledge Hive, a consultancy which allows me to pursue wide ranging interests, including politics. I was a local district councillor in Thanet from 2003- May 2015, when I stood down in order to fight the seat of Scunthorpe as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate in the 2015 General Election.
A former Chairman of the Academy for Chief Executives and Operations Director of the Executives Association of Great Britain, and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts , I believe passionately in strong leadership and the importance of creativity, brand, reputation, partnership working and maximising social return on investment.
The four core principles of the HIVE – honesty, integrity, vitality and excellence underpin all my work.
